History
GBC was founded in 2012 with a clear objective to provide the best turn key delivery service to our clients, initially within the telecoms industry. We immediately built a team of industry professionals to provide quality construction and rigging services to the incumbent suppliers delivering the UK’s 4G Rollout. We grew quickly, expanding our capacity, into one of the largest and respected build & programme management specialists in the telecoms industry.
In 2015, in line with the business plan, we set up our design department, again building a team of industry leading professionals to work within the GBC structure and adopt the GBC culture. With an unrivalled and invaluable collaboration between our design and build departments we again established ourselves as one of the leading providers of design and construction services within comms. During this period we established relationships and approved supplier status to many blue chip telecoms networks, vendors and MSA’s.
In 2018, and again, in line with the business plan GBC built our acquisition department, replicating the blueprint used when creating our design and build service offering we brought in industry specialists and placed them within the GBC structure and culture that has a proven track record for success. Our Acquisition department was the final piece of the jigsaw, completing the end to end service offering and achieving a key objective in the business plan. We have continued to strengthen our industry position through sustained performance and we continue to grow in size and reputation.
Civil Engineering & Electrical Industries- In 2016 GBC set about creating a team to penetrate other industries. Utilising the transferable skill sets and unrivalled ability to deliver a safe and quality service to the telecoms industry we were quickly awarded contracts in civils engineering and electrical fields with clients within the public and private sectors. As with the Telecoms industry this is an area of our business that continues to go from strength to strength.
Experience
GBC has over 1000 years’ cumulative experience within our internal team covering all elements of acquisition, design and construction, including programme management and engineering. The team we have built and developed is one of two key contributing factors in our success and growth, alongside the GBC culture.

Track Record
GBC play a vital role in the UK's connectivity keeping the critical infrastructure working and have been a key partner in several major telecoms rollouts delivering 10,000+ projects for major networks, vendors and MSA's. We have been involved in 2G, 3G, 4G & 5G rollouts as well as many ad hoc and specialist network requirements.
